Photospheres, sometimes known as Panospheres - provide someone with a unique perspective of a special place, view or landmark. Photospheres are specially warped versions of 360 degree equilateral images. Once the cubic images have been produced - after processing for lens distortion, chromatic aberation, vignetting and white balance etc, an equirectangular image can be produced and subsequently reprocessed to produce such effects as the panospheres.
